I love telling stories with light. Growing up in the themed lands of Orlando cultivated a sensibiliy and respect for the power of lighting on the human experience. Theatre, and by extension Lighting, gives us the ability to transform a space from an empty room to a completely different time and place while at the same time evoking a very real, sometimes visceral feeling in its inhabitants. Theatre can serve many purposes, to delight and entertain, to confront and to challenge, to love and to hate; Sometimes experienced individually and in some magical instances, we experience them all at once. It is through the collaboration of theatre that allows us to create these experiences, and is what I strive to achieve through my work....
