I tell stories through light. Growing up in the themed environments of Orlando, I developed a deep appreciation for how lighting shapes the human experience. In theatre, lighting has the transformative power to turn an empty room into a different world, taking audiences across time and place while evoking emotions that feel immediate and, at times, visceral. Theatre serves many roles—whether to entertain, challenge, confront, or provoke—often guiding us through a spectrum of emotions simultaneously.
